Signs of Spring
Unique stitched paper art work.
Back in 2008 we had heavy snow in April. I was amazed to see the tulips still coming up and that sparked a whole series of works.
Silk paper pieces are made using waste silk, then the drawing is added using hand guided machine embroidery and finally several layers of watercolour to bring the scene to life.
This piece is mounted and ready to frame and is 51 cm wide by 41 cm in mount. Work is 39 cm wide x 29.5 cm.
Would look great in light wood or white frame.
