Emsworth Arts Trail

This year Emsworth Arts Trail is taking place 11 and 12 September and 18 and 19 September.

I will be exhibiting at Tuppenny Barn, Main Road, Southbourne, PO10 8EZ.

You can find the guides all around the town in most of the shops, pubs and restaurants and I have been adopted by the Lord Raglan, one of the local pubs with a garden on the side of the water.

Tuppenny Barn is hosting 7 different artists over the two weekends and will be open from 10.00am to 5.00am. There is free on-site parking.

Looking forward to taking part and hopefully visitors will return as in earlier years.

My works are imaginary landscapes inspired by changing light in the sky, particularly at dawn and dusk. Each work is a one of piece created using paper and dense lines of stitch and try to capture a fleeting moment.

I'm hoping this piece called Sky at Twilight will be finally finished and on display. It is a large wall hanging that is based on a twilight sky at Langstone and has been made over a number of years using tissue paper and embroidery.
